The Football Frenzy

Back in the days, I never got into the hype where 20 people are chasing a ball to win a big gold-coated cup. All because I thought football was fake.
I totally made the connection, where in wrestling matches, it looks pretty fake.


and in soccer, someone tugs you in the shirt and people tumble like they got hit on the head with a jackhammer. AND it looks totally fake.


I probably still think the same though, except that this time I'm cheering for a team.

So just to get into the spirit, I'll cheer for:

New Zealand

and then let my grandkids cheer for my country, because I know that they won't be in the World Cup anytime soon. (inside joke, if you know where I'm from)

Anyways, New Zealand rocks okay??! They had three draws against Italy, Slovakia and Paraguay.

and that made three historic points.
