The White Blanket We Call Snow

Woke up morning, by the sound of people banging on my window. I look outside, and I see my flatmates pounding my window with snowballs.

SNOWBALL FIGHTTTT!!

So I quickly changed, grabbed the 3 important things before I left my room (phone, wallet, keys). Then, one of my flatmates texted me "Help! I'm locked out!".

Being the nice flatmate I am, I ran outside in search for her. And before I knew it, a gust of wind blew the door shut -______-
And what's worse, is that I left my wallet AND keys in my room. I managed to bring a camera though, which was helpful in catching the moment (beats the hell out of taking a mental picture imho).

Here it is, glorious New Zealand snow. Even in the slums!

You can say, oh wow you must be sooo lucky to lock yourself out to enjoy the soft, fluffy, virgin snow in your frontyard. Oh yeah?? Well try trudging 500m through slippery, slushie-like snow while dodging snowballs from people with intentionally/unintentionally bad aim.

But all well that ends well when my lectures and tutorials are cancelled. They say "please do not attempt to make it to tutorials if it is dangerous", I read "Have a holiday, folks! I don't want to see any of you because we want a holiday too!"

Time to go out and buy myself some hot choc! :D
